Eagle watching

One of the cool things about living in the St. Louis area is the winter migration of the bald eagles to our area. The confluence of the Illinois, Mississippi and Missouri rivers is just to the north of St. Louis and is a big nesting spot for the eagles between December and March.

Since I happen to be in between gigs this week, my wife and I thought it would be an opportune time to go eagle watching.

The first 4 photos are from the today’s outing. The last two are from 2004
