It seems the ground is becoming a little more active than usual. Apparently the Wabash Valley Seismic Zone is a little tired of taking a back seat to its closest neighbor, the New Madrid Fault, so it decided to remind us that it is there. One report I heard was that the magnitude 5.2 was about as large as they could come from that fault line. Not sure how much I’d believe that.
Anyway, it got me to thinking about our preparations a little. I think we’re a little underprepared in some areas, so I’ll be looking at that over the next few weeks. We did buy a water cooler, so we would have access to some water for a while. Just need to stock pile a few more jugs.
